ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,299,853, issued on May 13, was assigned to Verily Life Sciences LLC (Dallas).

"Dynamic smoke reduction in images from a surgical system" was invented by Ravish Malhotra (Oakland, Calif.) and Kirk Gossage (Pacifica, Calif.).
