ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,156, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Verily Life Sciences LLC (Dallas).

"Achieving uniform patterned drug release via at least one embedded microchannel in an ophthalmic device" was invented by Zidong Li (South San Francisco, Calif.) and Christian Gutierrez (South San Francisco, Calif.).
