ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,195, issued on March 25, was assigned to Vericool World LLC (San Ramon, Calif.).
"Compostable or recyclable packaging wrap" was invented by Darrell Jobe (Livermore, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A compostable packaging wrap comprising: a strip that is primarily formed of starch and that is flexible such that the strip can be rolled is disclosed."
The patent was filed on Oct. 12, 2023, under Application No. 18/485,623.
