ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,245,534, issued on March 11, was assigned to VERDANT ROBOTICS INC. (Hayward, Calif.).
"Detecting and tracking features of plants for treatment in an agricultural environment" was invented by Gabriel Thurston Sibley (Alameda, Calif.), Lorenzo Ibarria (Dublin, Calif.), Curtis Dale Garner (Sand City, Calif.), Patrick Christopher Leger (Belmont, Calif.) and Dustin James Webb (Murray, Utah).
