ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,390,438, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Ventis Pharma (Newport Beach, Calif.).

"Extended duration local anesthetic formulation" was invented by Jeremy Poulsen (N Sioux City, S.D.), Louis Stanfield (Odessa, Fla.) and Lawrence Volz (Dakota Dunes, S.D.).
