ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,349, issued on July 29, was assigned to Vascular Pathways Inc. (Salt Lake City).

"Intravenous catheter insertion device and method of use" was invented by Amir Belson (Los Altos, Calif.), Gregory W. Hall (Los Gatos, Calif.), Scott A. Daniel (Hayward, Calif.) and Robert Brommer (Fremont, Calif.).
