ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,390,328, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Vantis Vascular Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).
"Method and apparatus for antegrade transcatheter valve repair or implantation" was invented by Tim A. Fischell (Kalamazoo, Mich.) and Frank Saltiel (Kalamazoo, Mich.).

Apparatuses may include systems and may include an outer catheter, one or more interchangeable inner catheters, a guidewire and an expandable chordae tendinae deflector.
