ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,318,461, issued on June 3, was assigned to Vantage Specialty Ingredients Inc. (Warren, N.J.).
"Salicylic acid gel" was invented by Chris D. Gerlach (Buford, Ga.) and Michael B. Davies (Dacula, Ga.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A salicylic acid gel contains salicylic acid, a thickener, and a stabilizer compound. The gel may be diluted and/or incorporated into final skin care products."
The patent was filed on July 12, 2021, under Application No. 17/373,070.
