ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,404,984, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Valeo Vision (Bobigny, France).
"Light system with a customizable image region" was invented by Amanda Salas (Troy, Mich.), Brant Potter (Troy, Mich.) and John Orisich (Seymour, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light system comprising: one or more printed circuit boards; one or more lights located on the printed circuit board that generate light; and a personalized image device (PID) that creates an image which is visible from a location external to the light system."
