ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,352,402, issued on July 8, was assigned to Valeo Vision (Bobigny, France).

"Light system including a static bending light" was invented by Brant Potter (Seymour, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light system comprising: (a) a plurality of light sources configured to be located on a vehicle and project light outboard of a width of a vehicle; (b) one or more reflectors that are angled in a first direction relative to the plurality of light sources; and (c) one or more static bending light reflectors that are angled in a second direction relative to the plurality of light sources and the one or more reflectors."
