ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. PP36,606, issued on April 15, was assigned to V.O.F. DAYLIGHT BOOMKWEKERIJ (Boskoop, Netherlands).
"Cortaderia plant named 'Day10'" was invented by David Bakhuijzen (Boskoop, Netherlands) and Marcel de Pater (Boskoop, Netherlands).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new cultivar of Cortaderia plant named 'Day10' that is characterized by its strong and sturdy plant habit, its conspicuously dense and compact plant shape, and its floriferous flowering habit with beige-white inflorescences."
The patent was filed on Oct. 11, 2024, under Application No. 18/913,302.
