ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,261,035, issued on March 25, was assigned to Ushio Germany GmbH (Steinhoering, Germany).

"High-pressure discharge lamp, in particular high-pressure sodium-vapor lamp, with improved ignitability" was invented by Thorsten Baum (Steinhoering, Germany) and Marcin Piotrowsky (Blonie, Poland).
