ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,256,830, issued on March 25, was assigned to USA Broom LLC (Dodge City, Kan.).
"Handle bracket" was invented by Jim W. Lewis (Dodge City, Kan.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A broom bracket for a push broom which serves to provide strength between the connection of the handle and the broom block while inhibiting the rotation of the handle relative to the block and any loosening of a threaded connection therebetween."
The patent was filed on Dec. 3, 2021, under Application No. 17/541,390.
