ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,428,295, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to UOP LLC (Des Plaines, Ill.).

"Method of recovering a hydrogen-enriched product and CO 2 in a hydrogen production unit" was invented by Bradley Russell (Fall Branch, Tenn.).

A hydrocarbon containing feed is processed in a hydrogen production process unit, and the synthesis gas formed is subjected to a water gas shift reaction.
