ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,376,776, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to University of South Florida (Tampa, Fla.), CNR Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems (Catania, Italy) and NeuroNexus (Ann Arbor, Mich.).

"Flexible monolithic all polycrystalline silicon carbide neural interface device and method of manufacture" was invented by Stephen Edward Saddow (Land O Lakes, Fla.), Francesco La Via (Catania, Italy) and Christopher Leroy Frewin (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
