ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,285,235, issued on April 29, was assigned to University of Pittsburgh-Of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education (Pittsburgh).

"Touch probe passively powered wireless stent antenna for implanted sensor powering and interrogation" was invented by Michael A. Rothfuss (Pittsburgh), Ervin Sejdic (Pittsburgh) and Michael L. Gimbel (Pittsburgh).
