ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,259,384, issued on March 25, was assigned to UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS (Boston).

"Membrane and droplet-interface bilayer systems and methods" was invented by Matthew A. Holden (Amherst, Mass.), Max J. Lein (Belmont, Mass.), Arash Manafirad (Amherst, Mass.) and Dan Ezra Aurian-Blajeni (Newport, R.I.).
