ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,085, issued on June 17, was assigned to University of Kansas (Lawrence, Ky.).
"Methods and compositions related to the next generation vaccine" was invented by Wendy L. Picking (Lawrence, Kan.) and William D. Picking (Lawrence, Kan.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are compositions comprising a Gram negative needle tip protein and a translocator protein and methods of their use."
The patent was filed on Sept. 12, 2022, under Application No. 17/931,356.
