ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,509,705, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Universitat Bern (Bern, Switzerland) and Medizinische Hochschule Hannover (Hannover, Germany).

"AAV vector variants for ocular gene delivery" was invented by Sonja Kleinlogel (Bern, Switzerland), Anand David (Mumbai, India) and Hildegard Buning (Hannover, Germany).
