ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,263, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Universal Display Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).
"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Jason Brooks (Philadelphia), Glenn Morello (Pittsburgh), Chuanjun Xia (Lawrenceville, N.J.) and Jun Deng (Murrysville, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Novel organometallic complexes having a structure of Formula (VI) that are useful in organic light emitting devices are disclosed."
The patent was filed on Jan. 25, 2024, under Application No. 18/422,601.
