US Patent Issued to Universal Display on Nov. 25 for "Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" (New Jersey, Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,861, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Universal Display Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).

"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Peter Wolohan (Princeton Junction, N.J.), Tyler Fleetham (Newtown, Pa.) and Jerald Feldman (Cherry Hill, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are boron-containing compounds. Also provided are formulations comprising these boron-containing compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these boron-containing compounds."
