US Patent Issued to Universal Display on June 10 for "Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" (New Jersey, Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,717, issued on June 10, was assigned to Universal Display Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).

"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Wei-Chun Shih (Lawrenceville, N.J.), Zhiqiang Ji (Chalfont, Pa.) and Pierre-Luc T. Boudreault (Pennington, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are organometallic compounds comprising a first ligand LA of Formula IAlso provided are formulations comprising these organometallic compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these organometallic compounds."
