US Patent Issued to Universal Display on Dec. 2 for "Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" (Pennsylvania, New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,486,295, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Universal Display Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).

"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Jui-Yi Tsai (Newtown, Pa.), Zhiqiang Ji (Chalfont, Pa.), Wei-Chun Shih (Lawrenceville, N.J.) and Alexey Borisovich Dyatkin (Ambler, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are organometallic compounds having a ligand LA of Formula I:Also provided are formulations including these organometallic compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these organometallic compounds."
