US Patent Issued to Universal Display on Aug. 19 for "Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,391,873, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Universal Display Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).

"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Tyler Fleetham (Yardley, Pa.), Rasha Hamze (Philadelphia) and Jason Brooks (Philadelphia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are organoboron compounds having Formula I:Also provided are formulations comprising these organoboron compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these organoboron compounds."
