ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,128, issued on April 22, was assigned to Universal Display Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).
"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Jui-Yi Tsai (Newtown, Pa.), Alexey Borisovich Dyatkin (Ambler, Pa.), Walter Yeager (Yardley, Pa.) and Pierre-Luc T. Boudreault (Pennington, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are multicyclic organic electroluminescent compounds having a ligand LA of Formula I shown below:Also provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that contain an organic layer having these organic electroluminescent compounds."
The patent was filed on July 14, 2020, under Application No. 16/928,040.
