US Patent Issued to Universal City Studios on Nov. 11 for "Systems and methods for providing an image for an attraction system" (Florida Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,465,865, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Universal City Studios LLC (Universal City, Calif.).

"Systems and methods for providing an image for an attraction system" was invented by Kevin Smith (Apopka, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An attraction system of an amusement park includes a ride vehicle that moves along a path of the attraction system. A pathway moves alongside the ride vehicle, and a projector projects an image that follows movement of the ride vehicle along the path and movement of the pathway alongside the ride vehicle."
