ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,291,485, issued on May 6, was assigned to United States Gypsum Co. (Chicago).

"Gypsum cement compositions with aggregate stabilizers and methods for forming floor underlayment" was invented by Karl Glenn Niessner (Mundelein, Ill.), Dennis Mark Lettkeman (Broken Arrow, Okla.), John Wesley Wilson (Fairview, Okla.) and William Kelly Bedwell (Okeene, Okla.).
