ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,523,794, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to UNITED KINGDOM RESEARCH AND INNOVATION (Great Britain).
"Measuring snowfall" was invented by Hamish Daniel Pritchard (Cambridge, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system for measuring snowfall comprising: a pressure sensor disposed beneath the surface of an inland body of water located within a region of interest; and a data logger operably connected to the pressure sensor, the data logger being arranged to receive and log data from the pressure sensor."
