ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,527, issued on June 17, was assigned to UNILIN BV (Wielsbeke, Belgium).
"Panel and method for manufacturing such a panel" was invented by Benny Schacht (Vlamertinge, Belgium) and Jan De Rick (Geraardsbergen, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rectangular panel has long and short edges, such that on each long edge and on each short edge, the panel has a coupling part, which allows the panel to be coupled to another similar panel."
The patent was filed on Sept. 8, 2023, under Application No. 18/463,523.
