ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,502,866, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to UNILIN BV (Wielsbeke, Belgium).
"Decorative mineral panel" was invented by Benjamin Clement (Waregem, Belgium), Sam Ledegen (Ghent, Belgium) and Marijn Seynaeve (Moen, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A decorative panel includes a mineral layer, and a decorative surface. The decorative surface has an embossed pattern, wherein the embossed pattern is provided in the mineral layer."
