ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,305,096, issued on May 20, was assigned to UbiQD Inc. (Los Alamos, N.M.).
"Low-pH nanoparticles and ligands" was invented by Karthik Ramasamy (Santa Fe, N.M.), Hunter McDaniel (Los Alamos, N.M.) and Chloe Castaneda (Los Alamos, N.M.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates generally to nanoparticle formulations, and more specifically to nanoparticle and ligands used for imparting low-pH solubility in a range of solvents, including photoluminescent materials such as quantum dots."
The patent was filed on Nov. 6, 2022, under Application No. 17/981,441.
