ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,438,480, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to U.S. WELL SERVICES LLC (Willow Park, Texas).

"Wireline power supply during electric powered fracturing operations" was invented by Jared Oehring (Houston), Brandon Neil Hinderliter (Houston) and Joel Broussard (Lafayette, La.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method for supplying electric power to various pieces of fracturing equipment in a fracturing operation with gas powered generators. The system and method also includes switch gears, auxiliary trailers, transformers, power distribution panels, new receptacles, and cables to supply three-phase power to electric fracturing equipment....
