ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,245,619, issued on March 11, was assigned to Tyson Foods Inc. (Springdale, Ark.).

"Continuous mini corndog production process" was invented by Carrie M. Garner (Springdale, Ark.), Leslie N. Mann (Springdale, Ark.) and Mark G. Adkins (Wilkesboro, N.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A process for continuously producing a plurality of fully cooked, cured and battered frank products such as mini corndogs on a single production line is provided. The process comprises fully cooking the frank products after they have been battered."

The patent was filed on May 31, 2019, under Application No. 16/428,115.
