ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,282,883, issued on April 22, was assigned to TYCO FIRE & SECURITY GMBH (Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland).

"Robust fault detection and diagnosis by constructing an ensemble of detectors" was invented by Jaume Amores (Cork, Ireland), Young M. Lee (Old Westbury, N.Y.), Sugumar Murugesan (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Steven R. Vitullo (Milwaukee).
