ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,494,600, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Tyco Electronics (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. (Shanghai).
"Terminal and a connector" was invented by Yongjian (Justin) Huang (Shanghai), Tongbao (Tim) Ding (Shanghai) and Wenfang (Felix) Zhang (Shanghai).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A terminal includes a bottom wall having a through hole, a pair of sidewalls disposed on a pair of sides of the bottom wall, and a first elastic arm extending from a first side of the through hole in a direction away from the bottom wall. The sidewalls and the first elastic arm contact a pin inserted into the through hole."
