ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,203, issued on May 6, was assigned to TURUN YLIOPISTO (Turun Yliopisto, Finland).

"White organic light emitting device and process for production thereof" was invented by Konstantinos Daskalakis (Helsinki) and Paivi Torma (Espoo, Finland).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a white organic light emitting device (WOLED) comprising an electroluminescent material (ELM) and a Bragg converter disposed adjacent to the ELM.
