ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,226,356, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Turn Medical LLC (San Antonio).
"Adjustable posterior head support" was invented by Kevin S. Wilson (San Antonio), Eric W. Barta (Castle Hills, Texas) and Christopher T. Niederkrom (San Antonio).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Support assemblies for supporting the head of a patient during rotation are described. The support assemblies may include a posterior head support panel that allows for access to the patient."
The patent was filed on April 18, 2022, under Application No. 17/723,349.
