US Patent Issued to Tuftco on June 10 for "Four roll servo driven yarn feed module for precision yarn feed" (Tennessee Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,942, issued on June 10, was assigned to Tuftco Corp. (Chattanooga, Tenn.).

"Four roll servo driven yarn feed module for precision yarn feed" was invented by Paul Beatty (Chattanooga, Tenn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A yarn feed module may be provided with four small diameter yarn feed rolls and a plasma treated yarn feed surface to optimize secure yarn grip for precise feeding by servo drive with greater durability and fewer yarn entanglements, utilizing a variety of threading configurations."

The patent was filed on Aug. 15, 2023, under Application No. 18/234,357.
