ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,366,318, issued on July 22, was assigned to TT Technologies Inc. (Aurora, Ill.).
"Winch boom and method for trenchless replacement" was invented by Michael Tjader (New Richmond, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pipe replacement system and method are shown. Configurations are shown that include a pulley that does not damage a bursting tool, as the bursting tool is pulled into a pit. Configurations are also shown that include a boom that does not need an extraction cage for the bursting tool."
The patent was filed on June 6, 2023, under Application No. 18/206,450.
