ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,290,353, issued on May 6, was assigned to Trustees of Tufts College (Medford, Mass.).

"Thread-based real-time monitoring of bodily fluids" was invented by Sameer Sonkusale (Lincoln, Mass.) and Trupti Terse (Natick, Mass.).
