ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,416,493, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to TRINAMIX GMBH (Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany).
"8bit conversion" was invented by Benjamin Rein (Weinheim, Germany) and Peter Fejes (Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein is a method for beam profile analysis using at least one camera. The method includes: a) at least one data acquisition step; b) at least one image compression step; and c) at least one evaluation step."
The patent was filed on Aug. 1, 2023, under Application No. 18/363,481.
