ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,505,675, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to Trimble Inc. (Westminster, Colo.).

"Automatic optimization of obstacle detection" was invented by Juan Cheng (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Thomas Sterling (Lakewood, Colo.), Ulrich Vollath (Ismaning, Germany) and Brandon Sights (San Marcos, Calif.).
