According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An optical sight includes a lens assembly, a digital reticle display, a magnification adjuster, and a controller. The magnification adjuster is configured to be adjusted by a user. The controller is configured to display a reticle on the digital reticle display based on a real-time magnification, and is configured to determine the real-time magnification based on a position of the magnification adjuster."
