ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,496,137, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Treace Medical Concepts Inc. (Ponte Vedra, Fla.).

"Patient-specific osteotomy instrumentation" was invented by Adam D. Perler (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Samuel Adams (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Adam Schiff (Highland Park, Ill.) and James Q. Spitler (Winter Garden, Fla.).
