ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,794, issued on April 22, was assigned to Treace Medical Concepts Inc. (Ponte Vedra, Fla.).
"Tarsal-metatarsal joint procedure utilizing compressor-distractor and instrument providing sliding surface" was invented by John T. Treace (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.), Joe W. Ferguson (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.), Carlos Eduardo Gil (Memphis, Tenn.) and Sean F. Scanlan (Jacksonville, Fla.).
