ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,429,332, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Traxler Electronic Laboratories INC (RTP, N.C.).

"Determining a surface characteristic of a roadway using an imaging device" was invented by Robert Ernest Troxler (Raleigh, N.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for determining a characteristic of a construction material is provided. The method includes imaging the construction material and determining a characteristic of the construction material based off of the imaging."
