ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,497,084, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Transportation IP Holdings LLC (Norwalk, Conn.).

"Locking assembly" was invented by John D. Anderson (Oswego, Ill.), Walter J. Peach (Montgomery, Ill.) and Edward L. Vechiola (Lombard, Ill.).

The guide tube is elongated in a first direction from a first end to an opposite second end. The locking assembly also includes a first pin partially disposed in the guide tube and protruding from the first end of the guide tube. The first pin can be received in a first receiver. ...
