ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. PP36,689, issued on May 20, was assigned to Trajectory 762 Ltd. (Maraekakaho, New Zealand).

"Apple tree named 'MAC12'" was invented by Andrew John Mackenzie (Hastings, New Zealand).
