ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,288,348, issued on April 29, was assigned to TOYOTA RESEARCH INSTITUTE INC. (Los Altos, Calif.).
"Depth estimation based on ego-motion estimation and residual flow estimation" was invented by Jiexiong Tang (Stockholm), Rares Andrei Ambrus (San Francisco), Vitor Guizilini (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Adrien David Gaidon (Mountain View, Calif.).
