ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,498,272, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Toyota Research Institute Inc. (Los Altos, Calif.) and Toyota Jidosha K.K. (Toyota, Japan).
